Arlington 2003
Here are some photos taken on my wife Desi and I's trip to the EAA annual Northwest Fly-in located in Arlington Washington.
Getting There

Here are some pics of the flight over. We flew from Coeur d'Alene, ID direct to Arlington which takes you over the North Cascades. About a two hour flight in a Cessna 172. This particular rental plane had an 0-360 and a fixed pitch prop. That really jazzed it up. It was no RV, but good by my standards.

Mt. Adams is just east of Arlington. It was clear on the way over...

...but a little cloudy on the way back.
Some cool RVs

Look at how clean this panel is.

Nice mods. I plan to make a tailwheel cover like this.

I really like this idea, he notched out the canopy sill to make more shoulder room. I copied this idea and put it on my 7. I thought is was a cool new idea untill I talked to Tom Greene and he said he did the same thing to his 6 years ago.

This guy really did a nice job with the cowl hinge pin.
Some other nice planes

Any F1 rocket lovers out there? How about this little beauty.

Can you say "BAD ASS".

Scratch that... can you say "REAL BAD ASS".

Lets hit some of that Idaho back country...

..and those Idaho lakes.
